Sinusitis is a sinus infection also known as rhinosinusitis; it is an inflammation of the mucous membrane that lines the sinuses causing sinusitis. The common condition includes blocked nose, facial pain, thick mucus, Other symptoms may include headache, fever, poor sense of smell, sore throat and cough.
