Nose (Allergy) symptoms such as runny nose (rhinorrhoea), blockage, sneezing, bleeding, pain and reduced the sense of smell are common. And common causes for this include allergy, infection and tumour.

Nasal pain can result from trauma or infection. Vestibulitis (hair follicle infection of the nostril) causes pain at the opening of the nose. Trauma to the nasal bony structure can cause severe pain but generally subsides after a few days.

Sinusitis is a sinus infection also known as rhinosinusitis; it is an inflammation of the mucous membrane that lines the sinuses causing sinusitis. The common condition includes blocked nose, facial pain, thick mucus, Other symptoms may include headache, fever, poor sense of smell, sore throat and cough. 

If the symptoms last less the 4 weeks it is defined as acute sinusitis and chronic if it lasts for more than 12 weeks.
